What are powder brows?
- The powder brow method is similar to a traditional tattoo. This technique involves tiny dots of pigment, deposited into the skin, gradually building up a color and defined shape. The technique heals with results being powdery, a crisp tail, and resembling what your eyebrows will look like when it’s lightly filled in. Powder brows is less invasive and heals more naturally than traditional micro-blading. It is suitable for all skin types and pigment retention lasts between 2-5 years.
What makes you ineligible to receive permanent make-up services?
- You are ineligible for PMU services if you are: Under the age of 18, pregnant, breastfeeding, have taken Accutane within the last year, currently on blood thinners or tretinoin (retinoids or Retin A), have a keloid disorder, have transmittable diseases (such as, but not limited to HIV/Hepatitis), undergoing Chemotherapy or Radiation, have an epileptic or seizure disorder, or have had permanent makeup service elsewhere within the last 4 weeks.
How can I prepare for my appointment?
- Avoid caffeine and alcohol 24 hours prior to your appointment to prevent excessive pain and bleeding.
- Do not take Advil or blood thinners such as Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E 72 hours prior to your procedure.
- Avoid exercising the day of your procedure
- Do not take or recieve chemical peels, Laser skin resurfacing, Retinols, Vitamin E 4 weeks prior to your appointment.
For eyebrows:
- Refrain from tweezing and waxing once your procedure is scheduled. I will clean and shape them the day of your appointment. Avoid brow tinting and henna at least 2 weeks prior to your procedure.
For Lip Blushing:
- Exfoliate your lips the night before your scheduled appointment. Lip blushing and lip filler appointment must be at least 4 weeks apart. If you have a history of herpes simplex virus, lip blushing may awaken an outbreak following the procedure. It is highly recommended to take an antiviral medication 5 days before, the day of, and 5 days following the procedure. If you have an outbreak of cold sores on your lips the day of your appointment, the procedure will not be done.
For Lash Line Enhancements:
- Avoid mascara or any eye makeup the day of your appointment. Eyelash extensions must be removed at least 3 days prior to your appointment. Lash enhancing serums will increase sensitivity to your lash line. We recommend discontinuing use of lash serums 4 weeks prior to your appointment. If you have a stye or eye infection the day of your appointment, you cannot have this procedure done.
Which brow procedure is best for me?
- Every appointment includes a consultation. I will discuss different techniques and procedure options. We will decide together which procedure would give you the best results based on your skin type, amount of existing brow hairs, etc. I will also map out your eyebrows, so you will see what your eyebrows will look like before we even begin the procedure.
How many sessions does it take for a new set of brows?
- Every initial set of eyebrows require a minimal two sessions to be complete. The first session is the initial visit and the second session allows the artist to correct imperfections.
When do I come back for a touch up?
- When you should come back depends on how quickly your eyebrows fades and your preference. Our daily products, hormones and sun exposure play a factor in how well we retain pigment. I recommend when you have to start filling in your eyebrows again, it’s time for a touch up!
How long do eyebrow results last?
- Approximately 3-5 years. Maintenance Touch-Ups are recommended to maintain optimal color every 1-2 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, etc.
Will you touch up my eyebrows if I had it done previously?
- Most of the time, yes! As long as previous eyebrows are faded enough to be covered. If you have questions, text us photos of your brows without any makeup & in good lighting to 228-200-6869 prior to making an appointment. How long do I space out botox and brows?
- Allow at least 2 weeks after tox before having any facial procedures including eyebrow procedures done.
What is Natural Lip Blushing?
- Lip tattooing that enhances the beauty of your natural lip color, add fullness and definition.
Can I have Lip Blushing if I have Lip Fillers?
- Yes! Lip fillers does not interfere with lip blushing results. Note that lip blushing procedure must be at least 4 weeks apart from lip filler appointments.

Does it hurt?
- Slightly uncomfortable, but completely bearable! We use really good numbing! If needed, you can take Tylenol prior to your appointment. Do NOT take Advil before your appointment.
What do I need for aftercare?
- At your appointment, we will provide you with an aftercare bag that contains products for you to use during your healing process. Follow the link below for aftercare instructions.
